Speech Pal — Voice Delivery Improvement App
Welcome to Speech Pal ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Speech Pal mobile application (the "App"), you ("User" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Speech Pal.
Your continued use of the App after any modification to these Terms shall constitute your consent to such modifications.
Speech Pal is a voice delivery improvement application designed to help users enhance how they communicate through measurable, data-driven repetition. The App focuses exclusively on delivery mechanics — such as pace, stability, and filler words — and does not provide content coaching or therapeutic services.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Speech Pal. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.
The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
To access certain features of the App, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:
We reserve the right to terminate accounts, refuse service, or remove content in our sole discretion.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on your personal iOS device solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

The free tier includes General mode access, a limited number of recording takes per month, and access to the last 2 sessions only.
The Premium subscription unlocks all situation modes, unlimited recording takes, full session history, and full comparison features. Premium is offered as a subscription billed through Apple's In-App Purchase system.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will be communicated with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the App after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Speech Pal requires access to your device's microphone to provide its core functionality. By granting microphone access, you acknowledge and agree that:
You retain ownership of the voice recordings and other content you create using the App ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant Speech Pal a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process and analyze your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the App's services to you.
We do not sell your voice recordings to third parties. We may use anonymized, aggregated data derived from recordings to improve our analysis models.
You agree not to use the App to:
All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to the Vocal Mirror scoring system, feedback algorithms, UI design, graphics, logos, and text — are owned by Speech Pal and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
The Speech Pal name and logo are trademarks of Speech Pal. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SPEECH PAL AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
IN NO EVENT WILL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Speech Pal and its affiliates, licensors, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or for any other reason.
Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
You may delete your account at any time through the App settings or by contacting us.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Speech Pal is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules. You waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where material, by providing in-app notification or email notice.
